I am a genuine 6.0 male who knows how to listen and believes that women can read maps :-)

I am a very upfront, loyal, Taurean who keeps his word, is reliable and a little bit old fashioned especially with regard to manners, many of the “new modern day people” have forgotten what they are. A romantic, who enjoys good food and wine, dining in and out. Political correctness is one of my pet peeves and believe it is now totally out of control

Love life and all that it has to offer both good and bad, have a positive young outlook with a great sense of humour - my children keep me in check and fill me in on all the cool stuff.

Some of my likes and the occasional reverse which may give you a greater glance into what makes me tick and how I feel about life

Like: Cooking - especially Italian, Chinese, Mediterranean and Indian Dislike: Bland food,
Like: Good Music, with a melody Classical is high on the list, Ballad singers, Streisand, Carey, Elton John and for Jazz Oscar Peterson, Andre Previn ( he is a great all rounder) and Art Tatum : Dislike, Heavy metal and some of the more modern welly in the dryer classical stuff
Like: Good food and wine, preferring South African wine to most having been to several vineyards in my time there although some of the Californian ones are good mind you there is a lot of snobbishness attached to wine. Dislike: all the snobbishness attached to wine if you like it and it tastes good price shouldn’t matter
Like : The internet and computers, Digital photograph and presently learning more about editing video
Like: Sports cars – drive a convertible Audi A4 having got rid of the Golf GTI – had a convertible in the US and I missed it Dislikes: Dirty cars inside and out
Like: Thrillers and Mystery movies. Movies that share good philosophy, Pay it Forward, The Ultimate Gift and of course The Secret. My main philosophy mentor is Jim Rohn. Dislike: TV Soaps that portray poverty consciousness and stimulate violence
Like : Animals especially larger dogs Dislike People who mistreat animals

A few simple disciplines practised every day is a great formula for successs in most things
