At Cotswolds Connect we understand that exposing your business to prospective customers is not always easy or affordable.  Word-of-mouth recommendation from a satisfied customer is by far the most powerful form of advertising any business can have, but sometimes you need to advertise in order to get those happy customers to socially recommend you!

Cotswolds Connect is a community driven site exclusively for people from the Cotswolds.  If you have a business based in the Cotswolds, you have a ready made target audience by 'plugging' yourself and your business into our online community.  The first thing we recommend you do (if you haven't already) is to signup for a membership and list your business in our directory.

Banner Advertising:

If you would like to advertise your business across the site, we are offering some fantastic discounted banner advertising deals.  These prices are subject to change as the community expands, but you can book as far in advance as you would like, and the price will be fixed for you.

To create a level-playing field for businesses big and small, we have decided to offer shared banner advertising deals.  

We offer two banner sizes on the site:

  Type 1 - 250 pixels in height by 300 pixels in width.

  Type 2 - 160 pixels in height by 600 pixels in width - skyscraper.

  All banner graphics need to be in .jpg or .gif file format.

  Your business must be based in the Cotswolds.

Both of these banner types feature extensively throughout the site.

The shared banner advertising deal works as follows:

  All banner shares are purchased and displayed in one month intervals.

  1 share = 10% of the total impressions for that banner type for one month.

  There are a total of 10 shares, per month, per banner type.

  Banner Type 1 costs £45 per share.

  Banner Type 2 costs £60 per share.

  You are free to purchase as many shares as you like, and they will be filled asap on a first come first served basis.  So if for example you purchased 3 shares you would have 30% of the total impressions for that banner type for that month.  (provided enough shares were still available for that month, if they are not we will make you aware of this so you can decide whether you want to delay the banner advertising to have your exposure all in one month, or whether you are happy to spilt your shares over more than one month).
