Wednesday the 17th of December 2008 was the last golfing event of the year to determine the holder of the Verlander Open Golf Trophy going into 2009. We play at Puckrup Hall Golf Club near Tewksbury, it was a beautiful winters day with clear blue skies. The atmosphere on the first tee was competitive to say the least with the banter already at fever pitch - we love it! The game was fantastic even though the ground conditions were a little challenging at times. Scott Verlander (My son) came home a worthy winner with 37 points. Congratulations Scott.
