Fifty-four jobs have been lost after a Gloucester-based holiday company was placed in administration last week.
Phoenix Holidays Ltd employed 23 members of staff at its headquarters in Quedgeley and a further 31 members of winter holiday staff in France.
Administrators PR Booth and Co said some redundancies were made before its appointment and said it would now identify the best way of going forward.
Phoenix Holidays Ltd was formed in 2008 following the collapse of Travelscope.
Neil Marshall, from PR Booth and Co, said it was his understanding that the business looked reasonably good until September but a "significant drop" in bookings in the fourth quarter led to its folding.
