Sometimes I get excited about a new film that is being released, only to find out that the nearest place I can go to see it is Bristol or Birmingham. Does anyone else mind that local cinemas only seem to show the most popular films ?

It seems to me that they are more keen to show niche stuff like opera than well reviewed current films.

I know what you mean, why not start a poll and submit the results to your local cinemas?  Perhaps over-time they will start to listen
