AS its the weekend that our pets most hate - bonfire night/fireworks.

We all know to keep them in, but if your Cat or Dog goes hyper or goes to hide, to try and avoid the noise - dont forget there are products out there to help them stay calm and relax.

There is 2 main products - Feliway (feline) and DAP (canine) plug ins - where you plug it into a socket and it release phomones that only they can pick up which helps to calm them down. This may be available to buy from pet shops if not your local vets will have it in stock! (when these have finished you can buy refills which can be used over new year etc!)

This may not suit all pets and there is another product called zykene - which is powder that you put on there food (comes in capulse which you break to release the powder!) This is a very good product which does work and is both for cats and dogs.  This can be putchased from your local vets.

Hope you all enjoy the fireworks over the weekend

I'm quite lucky, I don't need to worry about all the fireworks going off as my dog LOVES them!  He just sits and watches them from the window!

Wishing on a star!
