The annual Winchcombe mop fayre is under way. Abbey Terrace is used on Friday and Saturday nights over the next couple of weekends to have a few fair ground rides and stalls. This is a tradition which goes back to the days when the Gentry of the area used to come into Winchcombe and the local girls were paraded in front of them and the girls were taken off to work on the estates nearby.
